An Automated Interview is a new way for employers to screen job applicants and enables individual candidates to deliver a more meaningful description of their relevant background. It is not used as a primary qualification tool but rather as a mechanism for candidates and employers to assess potential fit via longer descriptions of candidate’s skills and experience.
Questions are designed specifically for each job opening and candidates are invited to participate via email. Connecting through the Automated Interview website, candidates record their answers to each question. Each question comes with a 30-second countdown so there is time to formulate an effective answer, and questions are prompted individually, so candidates can take as much time as they need between questions.
When completed, the recorded answers are viewed by the hiring employer at their convenience, as well as stored for future reference and candidate approved distribution.
